Three weeks ago, a major event called 'Winter Soldier' was held outside Washington DC to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the Iraq war. 

In three days of gripping testimony, hundreds of veterans of the Iraq war described war crimes that they committed or witnessed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
