The City of Tigard is the latest to weigh in on the city of Portland joining the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force, an issue that has divided voters.

The discussion was reignited after Mohamed Mohamud's attempt to detonate an explosive at Pioneer Courthouse Square on November 26th.

Some are concerned that cooperation with the agency will lend itself to federal overreaches, yet at least one City Council in the Southwest Metro Area is in favoring of Portland rejoining.
