Environmental groups rallied against the Forest Service in Portland this week, demanding they drop the controversial Trapper Timber sale. Trapper is 150 acres of native and ancient forest located 40 miles east of Eugene. The area represents some of the last remaining forest in the country that has never been logged.
KBOO's Isobel Charle attended the rally and spoke with participants as well as Tom Napenburder, the Regional Public Affairs Director for the Forest Service.
