Once again, graduating college students around the country are being introduced to the union movement through an AFL-CIO program called the "Union Summer Internship". According to the union's website, the program has graduated nearly 3,000 activists since 1996, many of whom remain active in social justice work.

The program is also alive and well in Portland, as KBOO's Jaime Partridge reports.
