On Thursday, Feb. 18, the African American Alliance held a special session to discuss the next steps surrounding the fatal shooting of unarmed African American Aaron Campbell on January 29th.   
Commissioner Dan Saltzman, Scott Westerman of the Portland Police Association, and representatives from the Albina Ministerial Alliance all attended the meeting.
Reverend Jessie Jackson spoke at a rally held earlier this week in northeast Portland.
