Multnomah County Library has the second largest circulation in the entire country. But without permanent funding it continually faces the prospect of budget cuts, threatening services and staff positions. In November of 2010 over seventy percent of Multnomah County voters supported a proposal to change that by creating a library district.
KBOO reporter Joe Lino spoke with Grant Swanson, a clerk with Multnomah County Library about the possible funding measures.
