Senator Bernie Sanders and other members of congress have asked the State Department Inspector General to investigate the integrity of an environmental impact assessment of the Keystone X-L pipeline project. In letters sent Wednesday to President Obama and the State Department, more than a dozen senators and congressmen cited concerns about conflicts of interest regarding the proposed crude oil pipeline.
