This week marks the one year anniversary of the raid
of the Del Monte plant in North Portland.

The raid, carried out by Immigration and Customs
Enforcement officers, was the largest workplace raid in Portland history.

To raise awareness of the effects of the raid and
raise money for those still facing deportation a number of commemorative events
have been held around Portland.

One of these was a vigil held in front of the Del
Monte plant where the raid occurred
