An expert in sustainable practices and tax policies, U of O Law professor Nancy Shurtz will provide an overview of green commercial and residential buildings in Portland, both new construction and retrofits. “Seeing Green: Eco-Friendly Construction from the Earth Up” will be held tonight, 6:00 pm, at University of Oregon in Portland, located at White Stag Block, 70 NW Couch Street.  Shurtz will also discuss ongoing green practices within buildings and tax policy favoring green construction.
