The Rainforest Action Network has recently discovered human rights violations in the Indonesian island of Sumatra that can be linked to the agricultural giant Cargill. Cargill and its affiliates are in the area to extract palm oil, of which the U.S. has increased its level of imports by four hundred percent in the last four years.

KBOO reporter Joe Lino spoke with Laurel Sutherlin, the communication Manager with The Rainforest Action Network.
