One of the art openings in tonight’s ‘First Thursday’ event in downtown Portland will be a quilt made by a collective of women artisans in Afghanistan.
The quilt will be displayed in Portland’s City Hall for the next month.
Portland is its only stop on the West Coast during a national tour.
