Midnight Mixtape
Have you ever made someone a mixtape or CD to tell them that you love them? Did you spend half a day getting the song order just right, and making nice cover art for the mix? Do you ever hear a great Kinks song on the radio and wish you could hear two or three more? Do you love all kinds of music, period? This is that show. No set genres, just three hours of flowing rock, jazz, hip-hop, garage, country, soundtracks, and a healthy dose of Portland and Northwest artists thrown into the mix. Sometimes I'll even play an entire album, start to finish, why not? Free-form, yet focused.
Starting in February 2010, Midnight Mixtape will air on the 2nd Friday of each month from 10pm-12am, right before The Outside World. check the schedule.
